Coverage
Where the work is, and what the buildings there are made of
Coverage on a site like this usually means a list of place names and nothing else. That is not much use to somebody deciding whether to call, so each of these pages is written around the commercial stock the town actually has: which estates, roughly what era they were built in, what kind of roof and cladding is on them, and what tends to go wrong with that combination on that coast or in that valley.
The pattern matters because it changes what a visit spends its time on. A 1970s trade estate with asbestos cement roof sheets is a different inspection to a 2015 distribution shed with a standing seam roof and a full plant deck on top of it. A quayside transit shed on the north coast corrodes at a rate an inland unit never will. A town centre parade with lead flats and valley gutters behind a parapet fails in ways nobody sees from the street.
Travel is included in the price for everywhere on this list. Sites within a sensible run of each other can share a day, which is worth mentioning if you hold more than one building in the same part of the county.
