Most commercial work falls into one of three shapes. A programme that repeats, a single asset somebody needs answered now, or a record made at a fixed point in time because someone else is going to rely on it later.

Planned inspection programme

The same route round a site or a portfolio, flown to a schedule, so this year's photographs sit next to last year's and you can see what has moved.

  • An agreed asset list, so both sides know exactly what is covered
  • A fixed inspection route, repeated visit to visit
  • Dated photographs of every asset on the list
  • A written report per asset within 48 hours

One off asset inspection

One roof, elevation, tower or structure looked at properly, photographed close up and written up, because something has happened or somebody has asked.

  • One named asset inspected in full
  • Close range photographs of every elevation or roof plane
  • Detail shots of anything found that needs looking at
  • A written report within 48 hours with each photograph located

Pre works and handover records

A dated photographic record of a building at a fixed point in time, made because somebody is going to argue about its condition later.

  • Full external record of the building or buildings agreed
  • Every roof plane and every elevation covered systematically
  • Detail photographs of anything already damaged or defective
  • The date of capture on the record and in the file
